Vitamin D3 in the form of cholecalciferol, the one that the skin manufactures under the action of the sun: it is reputed to maintain vitamin D status better than the D2 form (ergocalciferol) — it is one of the best-established points on this vitamin.

Rapeseed oil (Brassica napus L.), capsule: bovine gelatine, humectant: glycerol, water, vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol).
The 50 µg dose of vitamin D is authorised only for people aged 11 and over.
Vitamin supplementation in infants (0-1 year) and in young children (1 to 3 years) is subject to medical supervision.
During pregnancy and breastfeeding, seek the advice of a healthcare professional before using this product: the intake of 50 µg per day adds to that of any other supplement already taken.
Also seek the advice of a healthcare professional in case of hypercalcaemia, calcium kidney stones, sarcoidosis or another granulomatosis, or renal insufficiency, as well as in case of ongoing treatment — in particular with a thiazide diuretic, a digitalis medicine, long-term corticosteroids, orlistat, cholestyramine or certain anticonvulsants.
Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Keep out of reach of young children.
Do not combine with another intake of vitamin D (multivitamin supplement, fish liver oil, pearls, prescription) without medical advice: the upper safety limit adopted for adults is 100 µg (4,000 IU) per day, all intakes combined.

Vitamin D3 is fat-soluble: it dissolves in fats. Taking it during a meal containing good fats makes it possible to optimise its assimilation. The pearl already contains rapeseed oil as a lipid carrier.
