Neutral gel. Essential oils: Eucalyptus citriodora (lemon eucalyptus), Laurus nobilis (bay laurel), Pinus sylvestris (Scots pine), Cedrus atlantica (Atlas cedar).
For horses only. Do not give to another species or to humans. Cats metabolise essential oils poorly: never apply any to them and keep the jar out of their reach, including in the stable.
Our catalogue also offers "Joint Suppleness (Gel)", a joint gel intended for humans whose formula is different: the two jars are not substitutes for one another, check the label before each application.
External cutaneous use only. Do not allow ingestion. Avoid wounds, damaged skin, the eyes, the nostrils and the mucous membranes.
Contains essential oils that are not diluted by the user. Bay laurel (Laurus nobilis) provides sesquiterpene lactones and Scots pine (Pinus sylvestris) monoterpenes, two families that sensitise the skin: first apply a small amount on a small area and wait 48 hours before extended use. Wash your hands after each application; a pregnant or breastfeeding person who applies the gel wears gloves.
Atlas cedar (Cedrus atlantica) provides sesquiterpene ketones (atlantones): to be ruled out in the pregnant or lactating mare, in the foal and in a horse with a history of convulsions, unless advised otherwise by the veterinarian.
Competition horse: essential oils may contain substances controlled by equine anti-doping regulations, and no withdrawal period is published for this gel. Before any use on a horse entered in competition, check the compatibility and the periods with the veterinarian and the federation concerned.
An old, convalescent or medicated horse: seek the advice of the veterinarian before use.
Keep out of reach of children.
This gel does not replace veterinary treatment. In case of lameness, swelling or a persistent health problem, consult a veterinarian.
Bay laurel (Laurus nobilis) is a sensitising essential oil, rich in 1,8-cineole: seek the advice of a healthcare professional in case of asthma or a history of bronchial spasm.
Eucalyptus citriodora, also called lemon eucalyptus, is a tree native to Australia whose leaves produce an essential oil rich in citronellal. Its current botanical name is Corymbia citriodora.
Apply the gel locally, 2 times a day, on the targeted areas of the horse.
