Gamma-oryzanol is extracted from rice bran (Oryza sativa): it is a natural mixture of phenolic compounds and of ferulic acid esters, not an isolated molecule.
The iodine is not provided by a synthetic salt: it comes from bladderwrack (Fucus vesiculosus), a brown alga, and it is the only iodine intake of the formula.
The liquorice is deglycyrrhizinated (DGL): glycyrrhizin, the compound associated with the rise in blood pressure, has been removed from it, which makes it possible to use the plant while limiting that risk.
"Vitamin U" is not a vitamin in the strict sense: it is a sulphur derivative of methionine (DL-Methionine Methylsulfonium Chloride), naturally present in cabbages and the other cruciferous plants.
The shell of the capsule is made of pullulan, of plant origin: the whole formula is vegan.
