The horse chestnut bud (Aesculus hippocastanum) is traditionally used in gemmotherapy to support the tone of the venous wall and the comfort of the legs.
The sweet chestnut leaf bud (Castanea vesca) is traditionally associated with lymphatic drainage and with the sensation of light legs.
The hazel leaf bud (Corylus avellana) is traditionally associated with the suppleness and the elasticity of the vascular walls.

For adults: 5 to 10 drops per day, neat or diluted in spring water. Between meals.
For your child: from 3 years: 1 drop per year of age. From 10 years: see adults.
For your pet: 1 to 3 drops per 10 kg of body weight in the water bowl, or pour a few drops into the palm of your hand and stroke your pet, which licks itself.

The macerate does indeed contain 25% alcohol, but the amount actually consumed is very small. At a rate of 5 to 10 drops per day, the daily dose represents less than 0.15 ml of alcohol, i.e. the equivalent of a few mouthfuls of slightly fermented apple purée or a small piece of sourdough bread. The drops may also be diluted in a little water.
From 3 years of age, at a rate of 1 drop per year of age; from 10 years of age, the adult dosage applies (5 to 10 drops per day). As the macerate contains 25% alcohol, seek the advice of a healthcare professional before giving it to a child, and dilute the drops in a little water.
