Berbé Vita is built on a berberine HBT complex standardised at 40%: raw berberine is poorly soluble by the oral route, this form brings its solubility to 90-100%, which allows a lower effective dose and limits the digestive disorders of high doses.
Akr Vita combines a pomegranate extract standardised at 30% of punicalagins and the strain Bifidobacterium animalis ssp. lactis B420.
The two references are in pullulan vegetable capsules.
The two boxes are sized on the same month — they finish together.
Each product keeps its own pack and its own leaflet: the set brings them together without merging them.

That is four capsules per day, one of each reference at each intake, morning and evening.
Storage
Berbé Vita is stored in a dry place, away from heat; Akr Vita away from light, in a dry place, between 15 and 25°C.

Berberine is not recommended in people with hepatic or renal insufficiency. It is contraindicated when taking macrolides (azithromycin, clarithromycin, erythromycin and roxithromycin) or ciclosporin. Its effectiveness may be lower in the presence of organosulphur compounds, St John's wort and tobacco.
In case of ongoing drug treatment — in particular anticoagulant, immunosuppressant or statin — or in case of immunosuppression, seek the advice of a healthcare professional before use.
Taking a live probiotic is also a matter for medical advice in case of severe immunosuppression, of a central catheter or of a heavy post-operative course.
The first days may be accompanied by transient gas or bloating.
